Measuring H: 9.25" x W: 4.5" x L: 11" Leopold, Duke of Austria, sits astride his prancing horse, designed by Veronese, and cast in cold cast resin, handpainted. Many Leopolds have been dukes of Austria, even into the Hapsburg rule of Central Europe. However, this is probably Leopold V, from the house of Babenburg, who is credited during his reign with the capture of Richard the Lionhearted of Britain.
