This jousting knight on horseback, measures 8.75"H x 11.75"L. It is made of meticulously hand-painted cold cast resin. The knights templar, examined elsewhere on this page, held numerous properties in Britain. One of these, Temple Hirst and surrounding grounds, is in Yorkshire. Much of the old temple is gone today, but it was a center of templar activity. It is said that it was probably the setting for Sir Walter Scott's Ivanhoe, since several characteristics are recognizable in the story.
