This knight on horseback is outfitted with proper accoutrements for the Burgundian knights, 7.5"H x 8.25" L, and made of hand painted cold cast resin. This Knight was apparently precedent to the burgundian army of Charles the Bold (a/k/a/ Charles the Rash) who relegated his knights to mounted armored archers who dismounted and used their weapons. Although his ordinance required a working knowledge of several weapons by each member of his force, practically his efforts failed against the Swiss. (XV V.)
