Arthurian legend begins as far back as the late 1st century and the latest mention in history was in Sir Thomas Malory's book "Le Morte d'Arthur" written in France in the 1500's, updating much of the styles and daily life to the 1400's. However Characters used in his book are found far into English History, indicating that the legend began long ago. Below are knight statuettes, which are clothed along the later descriptions. |
