At 8 inches (H),These jars are over twice as large as the ones offered by the Summit Collection in another set. Order separately when adding to basket. Designer and date stamped. THE Canopic Jars, held the viscera of the dead(organs removed during the embalming process.) These would once again be needed when the dead returned to Egypt. They were capped by heads of Qebseneuf, Imsety, Duamatef, & Hapi. The canopic Jars were guarded by Isis, Serquet, Nepthys, and Neith.
