NOTE: all statues and figurines, unless noted, are made of cold cast resin......this should not be confused with products stating just resin or polyresin. They are heated to harden. Heat changes the molecular structure of things, so those products turn out to be very breakable, gritty (unable to be mended without showing the mend), and not as detailed. Cold cast resin, on the other hand, although it takes several days to harden, is much more dense, subject to exceptional detail, much harder to break, and will not show the mend should that unlikely event occur. Our statues are then beautifully painted by hand to develop beautiful gradations of color, shades, etc. to enhance the detail of the statue. Their quality is guaranteed. Up until recently the molds were pirated by other companies in China, and used for cheap knock offs......now, however, all Summit Collection pieces are copyrighted, making sale of any knock offs in the United States, illegal. They may cost a couple of dollars more, but their superior quality is obvious once you receive it.
This is also true of the Alchemy Gothic products we offer. These products are also imitated frequently, but the quality difference is obvious. Alchemy gothic has designed and manufactured beautiful pieces, which cannot be confused with cheap knock offs and imitations. Again, these products might be a bit more expensive, but they are well worth the difference.
