The Whitby Wyrm flew back to the town of Whitby every seven years, so legend has it, and attempted to drag the church there into the sea, wreaking havoc as well on the town. This statue measures 10.4 cm in height. It is, of course, handfinished English pewter. a "moon" pearl is in its mouth as it flies over a enamelled pearlescent moon pool, on a handcrafted base of cold cast resin.
